PowerTek Australia Pty Ltd is a small group of specialist electrical personnel servicing the electrical
requirements of Mining, Commercial and Heavy Industry across Tasmania, Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
Works include switchboard design and manufacture, turnkey projects, engineering support, automation and
mining labour hire.

We are currently seeking applicants for the following position:
SWITCHBOARD TECHNICIAN
The individual sought will be a highly motivated reliable self-starter with the ability to work
unsupervised or in a team environment, with a high regard to quality and
safety.
The full time position will involve all facets of switchboard manufacturing and mining equipment
manufacturing. Including: Testing, on site works, and quality control
 

Desirable qualifications
- Current Tasmanian Electrical Technicians licence or engineering diploma
- Drivers License
- Excellent communication skills
- Switchboard industry experience
- Estimation experience
- Post Trade qualifications
- Fault finding skills
- Organisational skills
Remuneration package is negotiable on level of experience and qualifications.
Some on site and interstate travel may me required.
